Sunoco LP is the largest wholesale fuel supplier in the U.S., supplying fuel to over 8,000 locations in North America.

 

The Sales Operations Senior Analyst will be a key member of the business development team and provide support to executive leaders. This position requires a driven individual with a strong business acumen and analytics capabilities, excellent communication and relationship skills and a passion for success. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze volume and EBITDA trends for partner brands, evaluate against contractual commitments, communicate shortfalls to executive team and propose solutions to ensure key metrics will be met. 

  • Manage M&A synergy tracking for the branded business. Liaison with key leaders and utilize CRM platform (Salesforce) to identify pipeline of volume and EBITDA and report out variances to forecast on a monthly basis. 

  • Facilitate and coordinate cross functional review of financial models for larger opportunities. Propose creative solutions to meet financial targets and own updates to financial modeling. 

  • Evaluate commercial opportunities for new product development. Coordinate with supply team on viability of opportunities. Develop and manage small scale pilots to evaluate opportunities in field. 

  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly production and distribution of key performance metrics and dashboards for team. Support process for ensuring monthly forecasts for EBITDA and capital expenditures are accurate. Coordinate and support team members on updates to data. 

  • On a quarterly basis, analyze data on closed-lost opportunities logged in Salesforce. Identify key themes and opportunities to present to senior  management and other internal stakeholders.

  • Monitor compliance to Salesforce processes for business development team. Produce and analyze reports to ensure process adherence. Identify process improvement and automation opportunities. 

  • Provide support for special projects as needed.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business or related area preferred
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Prior internship or work experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Vigorous attention to detail
  • Inquisitive attitude and curiosity for learning
  • Passionate, motivated, and proactive action-oriented inclination
