Associate Analyst - Lease Crude
Summary:
This is an entry level position within the Lease Acquisition Marketing Group that supports Account Managers in researching oil purchase and competitor economics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Key responsibility is to provide analytical support to the Account Managers.
- Duties include preparing economic analysis, communicate and track nominations, interfacing with trucking, accounting, division order, and supporting customer service.
- Duties will include frequent communication with customers to maintain relationships and resolve issues.

Reconcile differences in real-time production volumes versus the nominated volume with the goal of increased confidence in our monthly forecast communicated to the trading team.
- Review and monitor various research databases for possible new customer opportunities and comminate those opportunities and your research to the account managers.
- Job duties will require strong verbal communication skills.
- Special projects as required.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or Business Administration or other related fields) or equivalent experience
- 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven analytical skills and proficient computer applications knowledge.
- Must have excellent prioritization and time management skills and must be detail and deadline oriented.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.
- Ability to assemble and present marketing data to both internal and external customers.
- This position requires incumbent to perform accurate administrative functions and be able to work effectively with all departments within organization.
- Extensive customer communication either in person or by phone is required.
