SEC Energy is a single-source provider of natural gas compression equipment, parts and services to all segments of the oil & gas industry. From 50 to 8,000 horsepower, gas, electric or dual drive, SEC is capable of designing and fabricating equipment to meet each customer’s specific operating requirements. SEC also provides production, processing, and treating equipment, and an expansive network of warehouses that service locations across the United States. SEC capabilities expand beyond tradition manufacturing to further include turnkey engineering services, truck-based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment.

Job Summary

The project coordinator will assist with engineering organization with support for project execution tasks, data analysis, and administrative work that support successful and efficient project execution. This position will interface with all internal & external stakeholders including purchasing, engineering, operations, and accounting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:

  • Work closely with project managers with the execution of project deliverables
  • Coordinate with purchasing to expedite materials as necessary to support project timeline
  • Assist with customer portal interfacing and document transmittals
  • Enter bills of material into SAP to support project deliverables.
  • Assist with SAP data entry and maintain accurate departmental and project reports
  • Assist with the coordination of order hand-off between estimating and project management.
  • Participate in internal and external kick-off meetings and distribute team communications.
  • Maintain ownership of internal design and installation databases.
  • Trips to shop floor to aid with collection of information or resolution of project issues.

Education /Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • Ability to communicate fluently, verbally and written in English. 
  • 5+ Years of Fabrication or Production Environment Experience preferred. 
  • Strong Proficiency of SAP S4 HANA.
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools.

  • Excellent writing and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work under pressure in deadline driven & fast-pace environment
  • Ability to work independently and hold self-accountable to meet deadlines
  • Capability to multi-task with good organization skills
  • Problem solving and decision making with minimal supervision
