Division Manager- Account Management-Distributors
Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Summary:
Manage a team of Area Account Managers representing 1500+ Distributor supplied fuel locations and 90 Sunoco Branded Distributors in the Midwest and Northeast of the United States. Role requires a willingness to problem solve and drive efficiencies to facilitate further growth. The ideal candidate will have a hunger to learn as the role will touch on all aspects of the business including customer relationships, finance, legal, real estate, pricing, and business development. Interpersonal skills are a must. Fostering relationships with customers as well as coaching your team of Area Account Managers will be a daily activity. Please note that this position will have various territories and can be located in the following states:
NY State, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky or any of the Northeastern states (CT, MA, RI, NH)
Sales and Growth:
- Drive EBITDA through network of Sunoco Branded Distributors
- Responsible for profit and loss of entire Division
- Exceed budget expectations for your division
- Proactively manages the renewals of existing customer contracts
- Manage, develop and mentor a team of Area Account Managers
- Develop Market strategic plans focused on delivering increased EBITDA, free cash flow and organic sales growth
- Recommend capital expenditures intended to deliver exceptional returns
- Provide support to annual budget development
Operations:
· Manage all areas related to Area Account Managers including but not limited to:
· EBITDA Growth
· Customer Relations
· Brand Standards
· Value Added Programs
· Employee Training
· Communications
· Distributor Quarterly Business Reviews
· Mystery Shops
· Performance Reviews (including key performance metrics)
· Employee Development and Succession Planning
· Assist with contract renewals
· Build relationships internally that foster an atmosphere of inter-departmental cooperation and customer service excellence
Customer Relations:
· Cultivate relationships with Distributors
· Provide superior customer service by responding efficiently and in a timely manner including outside of normal business hours
· Represent Company interests with the highest standards of professionalism.
Required Skills (External)
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field recommended.
· 8+ years of experience.
· A minimum of three (3) years management experience.
· Ability to travel 50% of the time.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn various other systems utilized including:
· Salesforce & Power BI
· Possess exceptional customer relations skills and negotiations skills.
