Security Technology Specialist - Organizational Security
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- BS in Business, Technology, Criminal Justice, or related field; or equivalent military experience; and 2-5 years of experience.
- Proficient knowledge of physical security hardware components, software and related applications.
- Ability to make quick assessments after diagnosis; able to prioritize the facts.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office Suites and various alarm applications.
- Must be team oriented including as well as the ability to work independently and in a matrix organization.
- Resilient personality and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make sound judgements based on limited facts.
- Ability to work overtime and report to the Security Operations Center (SOC) for emergency situations.
- Ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to adapt to various circumstances, working environments and conditions.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience.
- ASIS PSP certification
- Knowledge of personal security, customer relations, industrial security and related communication appliances
- Demonstrated experience with electronic card access and camera systems; Milestone, C-Cure 9000, Lenel, Genetec

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Up to 25% overnight travel may be required.
