Summary:
Assist with the creation, revision, and maintenance of companywide PHMSA regulatory and non-regulatory required operations procedures as well as OSHA required safety procedures. Assist affected business unit(s) with submitting revision requests. Correspond with affected business unit(s) and document owners to assist with questions and requests. Assist with training development to effectively communicate the revisions to the affected business unit(s). Maintain records necessary for program compliance.
· Analyze the revision request to determine scope and impact to Operations
· Facilitate initial revision request meetings between the document owner, volume owner, and any other impacted key stakeholder
· Guide revisions through the different stages of the revision process
· Maintain revision status records
· Coordinate with team at different stages of the revision process
· Coordinate with the Training Department and document owner on the creation of any necessary training the revision requires.
· Conduct Annual Review process for both SOPs and Safety Procedures
· Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred (preferably in an education/training/HR/technical related field) or equivalent knowledge demonstrated by work experience.
- 6+ years of related experience
· Midstream gas or hazardous liquid pipeline or terminal knowledge
· Excellent verbal & written communications skills and able to effectively interface with all levels of management, field personnel, and professionals.
· Customer service mentality
· Pass all required Company issued training courses within the required timeframe.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and objectives. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work and adaptable to changing due dates.
· Ability to work independently with little oversight
· Demonstrated organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
· Dependable and self-motivated
· Detail oriented
· Mastery or proficiency in various software applications (i.e. MS Office suite)
· Awareness of 49 CFR 191, 192 and 195 requirements
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
· Usually, normal office working conditions.
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
· Occasional overnight travel may be required.
