Sr Manager – Race Fuels Operations and Strategy
Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Summary:
The Sr Manager – Race Fuels Operations and Strategy will develop the Race Fuels team through motivational leadership to continually improve processes and drive efficiency in operations. Through market research and analysis, you will define and execute strategy to drive growth in the Race Fuels business.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Liaison with plant management on blending of products ensuring Race Fuels are available as needed
- Manage budgeting and forecasting process driving the team to meet EBITDA and Volume growth goals
- Ensure products and plant meet all legal, regulatory, environmental, safety and tax requirements
- Drive efficiency in billing, ordering, logistics, customer setup, and financial reporting
- Organize and plan industry events and trade shows ensuring we get great value in attending
- Direct financial resources towards key strategic initiatives in alignment with product growth goals
Strategy
- Assess the competitive landscape to identify new markets and verticals where we can grow sales volumes while maintaining current areas of strength
- Drive strategy to develop the right set of products and solutions to meet the needs of these customers
- Develop a process to regularly gather competitive pricing information, evaluate where we are relative to the market, and execute pricing changes when thresholds are triggered
- Optimize cost structure, finding ways throughout supply chain to create savings on items such as blend plant operations, fuel components, transportation, and product packaging
- Streamline tasks such as order taking, customer support, reporting, and merchandise fulfillment freeing up team to focus on key volume building and cost optimizing activities
Required Skills / Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, & Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of operations and strategy experience required, preferably in oil and gas industry, preferably in roles such as strategy, product development, supply chain and logistics, and marketing
- At least 3 years' experience managing and leading teams
- Must be a proactive self-starter with excellent financial and business acumen
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to present to executive management
- Experience in racing industry a plus
