Summary:  Join our team as a Sr Safety Manager and lead the charge in championing a culture of safety excellence across our organization. We are looking for a dynamic individual to take the helm of our corporate safety program, drive continuous improvement, promote safety at all levels of the organization, and provide leadership to a team of dedicated safety professionals. As the Sr Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to perform the below:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

- Inspire our team to pursue safety progress

- Implement initiatives and programs tailored to our operations

- Support our Operations, Measurement, and Engineering teams in enhancing their safety knowledge

- Spearhead various programs to prevent incidents such as PPE, Gas Monitors, MOCs, Job Planning, Work Permits, LOTO, SOPs, and Site-Specific Procedures

- Foster a leadership commitment to safety throughout the organization

- Cultivate a safety culture that promotes open reporting of incidents and near misses, driving continuous improvement in safety practices

- Empower all employees and contractors with Stop Work authority

- Promoting an active culture of continuous improvement

Your role will encompass both Operations and E&C safety support, overseeing a range of responsibilities including:

Safety Services:

- Owning Safety Procedures Volume and Injury Case Management programs

- Managing Driver Safety and Drug & Alcohol programs

- Supporting Safety Services initiatives and safety content development

- Leading safety training sessions and overseeing safety videos

- Coordinating safety assessments and compliance programs

E&C Construction Projects:

- Providing field support through assessments and site visits

- Developing Contractor Site-Specific Plan Templates and safety programs

- Managing contractor safety KPIs and incident investigations

- Facilitating safety meetings and promoting safety goals

- Maintaining safety manuals and ensuring compliance

 

Requirements:  Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements for this position are listed below.  

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, related field, or equivalent work experience

- Minimum of 10 years of experience including at least 5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety

- Proficiency in safety regulations and compliance standards

- Strong leadership, communication, presentation and organizational skills

- Track record in developing EHS training materials
