Minimum Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years’ relevant work experience & training as a technician or additional equivalent experience necessary to perform required task of technical support on an independent basis
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Alternative educational experience including but not limited to self-study course work or components of a non-technical degree
• Strong computer skills and proficiency utilizing MS Office Suites (Word, Access, Excel & Visio).
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, especially pertaining to electrical wiring & components at various voltage levels.
• Customer Service oriented and must possess excellent verbal & written communications skills including an ability to deal effectively with internal/external customers, peers and management.
• The ability to work in hazardous conditions, adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting.
• Subject to 24-hour call out 7 days per week and possible extended work days.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of residence including a clean driving and safety record.

Preferred Skills or Experience:

• Associate’s Degree in a related technical field preferred (or additional equivalent experience).
• FCC License desired, not required.
