Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or other applicable major
- 12+ years of experience including energy industry experience
- Experience with NGL export business including supply, trading, shipping and operations is a plus.
- Self-starter, with a desire to learn and willingness to proactively reach out to customers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail while handling multiple tasks at the same time
- Must be a team player and positively represent Energy Transfer to customers and counterparties
- Ideal attributes include excellent negotiator, strong strategic decision making, creative thinking, and a desire to build relationships with others in the industry
Software Knowledge:
- Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point
- KPLER knowledge is a plus
Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
