Primary Responsibilities:


• Coordinate, schedule, and communicate information to drivers, field management, and customers


• Organize, analyze, and track relevant information regarding supply and demand


• Answer a high volume of calls, emails, and computer-based fleet messages from internal and external customers to maintain top of the line service


• Extensive collaboration with drivers regarding customer’s trucking requirements and changing priorities to ensure both customer and driver needs are met


• Identify areas to improve efficiency, and work with your team and team lead to implement new strategies


• Quickly and effectively communicate changes in the business to team lead and management to ensure Trade Star can proactively address these changes


• Have daily understanding and knowledge of our near future trucking capacity to assist in forecasting and the capture of additional business, and to ensure we do not leave current business standing longer than contracted terms allow


• Maintain timely and accurate records of all transactions


• Model behaviors that support Trade Star’s common purpose


• Ensure all activities follow Trade Star’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures


• Complete other duties as assigned by team lead and management


Qualifications:


• High school diploma or equivalent certificate required


• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or similar focus preferred


• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience required


• Oil field dispatch experience preferred but not required


• Basic Microsoft Office skills required; intermediate to advanced experience preferred


• Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills required


• Ability to work through high-pressure situations, juggle competing priorities, and make decisions that have a significant financial impact within a limited timeframe required


• Must be able to work effectively with a team and independently


• Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines imposed in a dynamic environment


Working Conditions:


• General office work environment requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time


• Flexible schedule of 4-5 shifts on followed by 4-5 shifts off, 12-hour shifts


• Must be a team player, willing to step in and help teammates, for the greater good of Trade Star
