To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
This is a technical position and requires basic knowledge of electricity. You will need a working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NFPA 70), National Electric Safety Code (NFPA 70E), NEMA standards, and some IEC symbology.
Computer/CAD skills:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Bluebeam
AutoCAD, Plant3D, CADworx, Autodesk Vault, and Adept.
Experience:
· Associate degree in Instrument or Electrical Design or Trade School or equivalent industry experience.
· 5-8 years' experience in the industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
· Instrumentation applications in Wet/Dry Natural Gas, and Crude/Processed Liquids service.
· Knowledge of Electrically Hazardous Area Classifications.
· Maintenance, and construction knowledge.
· Have high ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Highly motivated individual that can work productively in a self-directed manner with minimum supervision.
· Able to adapt to and thrive in a fluid environment where priorities and directions may change regularly.
· Open to continuous improvement with a passion for continual development and learning.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization.
· Possess strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
