Energy Transfer is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. In total, the Company owns and operates approximately 120,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and natural gas liquids pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets which are used to facilitate the purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and refined products.

Our Accounting Transformation and Integration Department is seeking a dynamic, personable, and professional intern for summer 2026 at our Dallas office.

This is a twelve (12) week internship program starting in May 2026.  You must be enrolled in college during the program

Summary:

This internship will work within the Transformation and Integration Department of Corporate Accounting. This department is tasked with promoting Data Analytics and Technological Transformation within the Corporate Accounting functions. This allows us to provide value to other departments by focusing on analysis and timely reporting. Additionally, we coordinate the needs of the Accounting Group with regards to mergers and acquisitions ensuring that we can transition in the time allowed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Learn automation tools to benefit accounting users, primarily Alteryx and Power BI, but will gain exposure to other data transformation applications

·        Oversee a project lifecycle to ensure the completion of a department initiative including governance packages and user guides

·        Maintain Alteryx workflows and assist specialists in getting workflows into Alteryx Server

·        Obtain professional certification(s) in Alteryx

·        Assist specialists in meetings between project stakeholders, IT, and/or third parties in ad-hoc or cadence sessions to ensure project timeline integrity

·        Assist in developing and deploying wide-ranging departmental communications, as well as keeping people updated on the department’s progress towards its goals

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

·        Majoring in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting, or Finance

·        Preferably junior status as of Fall 2026

·        General requirements include self-motivated individuals interested in learning data driven applications

·        3.0 GPA or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Completion of introductory level accounting and/or finance courses before the commencement of the internship

·        Additional coursework or experience in Finance or Accounting is a strong plus

·        Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities

·        Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast-paced environment

·        Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization

·        Strong skills and orientation to project and process management

·        Willingness to work fully on-sight
