Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- College degree preferred and 8-10 years work experience.
- Excellent understanding of the Pipeline Scheduling Cycle (nominations, proration, daily scheduling and accounting close)
- General knowledge of Crude Oil pipelines and tank farm operations.
- Must be familiar with Pipeline Tariffs, pipeline rules and regulations, throughput deficiencies, connection agreements and operating agreements.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and must be trainable to learn business applications associated with position (PFIS, Transport4 and Synthesis).
- Background in crude oil products , pipeline operations, pipeline scheduling and accounting
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision; detail oriented.
- Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast-paced environment meeting time sensitive deadlines.
- Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization.
- Ability to lead a group of Schedulers and have the ability to facilitate conversations with internal and external customers in all aspects of the business.
- Must be able to work flexible hours in the event of a project start up and emergency upset.
