Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the SAP S4 Materials Management module for users with in-depth expertise in SAP MM and LE (Logistics Execution) solution. Perform system support, analysis and design for SAP and other related IT solutions to support Source to Pay Processes. Knowledgeable and experience with other modules such as IM, WM, QM & PP, along with the corresponding business processes and related project implementation. This includes using in-depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users. Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards. Key members of the Source to Pay (STP) team are responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solution supporting logistics modules in an engineer to order environment. Ability to work on enterprise solutions and support legacy innovation challenges. Collaborate with other teams responsible for related functional areas (Finance to Manage (FICO), Order to Cash (SD), Plant Maintenance (PM) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development, Integration). Work with IT and business resources to perform testing of solutions, including preparation of test scenarios and scripts. Log issues and maintain status in issue tracking system for prioritizing work and reporting status. Analyze and document as-is processes and systems, determine gaps and define to-be processes and systems. Assess break/fix, maintenance and enhancement requests for feasibility and scope of solution. Work with business resources to understand needs and document solutions. Proactively work with business stakeholders to comprehend the business requirements and coordinate with technical team for solution design. Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery. Opportunity to complete a holistic solution by defining functional design gaps and solutions for objects to add to the system. Facilitate training sessions for the users where appropriate. Ensure appropriate team support and new development documentation process. is followed (i.e. scope, design, test plans, issues and cutover lists, project plans). Facilitate the issue resolution process by tracking the status of issues in progress. Demonstrate effective team skills with strong oral, written communications and deliverables. Ability to quickly learn the end-to-end business operations. Evaluate and map SAP solutions to solve business problems. Stay on top of the deliverables to keep up with the committed SLA’s. Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent
Experience Required:
· 8 years energy industry and/or consulting experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) and logistics solutions.
· 2 years inclusive experience with IM (Inventory Management)/WM (Warehouse Management)/ PP (Production Planning), Inter/Intra Company STO (Stock Transport Order) process, and Fiori, understanding SAP best-practices, business processes, and the relationships between modules.
