Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  


- Performing and monitoring backups for all enterprise servers in all domains, both Windows and Unix/Linux
- Architecture of Backup solution(s) as needed
- Being part of Server Patching team as needed
- Automating and/or writing/editing scripts to automate job functions
- Cross-training others/information sharing with others/documenting all processes
- Supporting other team members as needed with various functions
- Participate in the on-call rotation with the team
- Potentially being part of BCP team
- Working tickets, tasks, change requests assigned to team
- Troubleshooting server issues and problems to resolution
- Team liaison with other IT teams
- Provide technical lead services for projects as needed or appointed to
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

-8+ years of related experience
 - Experience with Veeam in large enterprise environment
- Several years of architecting backup solutions for Veeam or other backup solutions
- Experience with other backup technologies; such as, EMC Networker, Backup Exec, Baccula
-Experience working with with SCOM, SCCM (specifically server patching), and scripting tools - such as PowerShell, reading and writing scripts
- Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible Tower
- Working knowledge of SQL, Symantec Endpoint Protection administration, Printer Logic, Double Take, Remedy, FTP, Mainframe, DFS, AD 2012 R2 and 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016, SharePoint, Secure Networks, File Server replacements and migrations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Business Continuity Plans (disaster recovery plans)
- Knowledge or Experience with Solaris 11/RHEL 7
- Any VMWare experience

Required Soft Skills:
- Able to think outside the box to solve issues and/or create new solutions
- Great customer service skills
- Be a team player and willing to work in small to large groups as needed
- Able to document processes and procedures
- Possess great work ethic and easy to work with
- Be a self-starter, ambitious, creative thinker, doesn't except status quo and always looking at how to continue to move forward
- Any project management experience or certification is a plus

Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • Usually, normal office working conditions. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required. 
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
