Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent knowledge demonstrated by work experience.

8+ years of experience

Experience in the environmental compliance profession

Knowledge of applicable Federal & State Air, Water, Solid/Hazardous Waste, and Wastewater regulations or requirements. 

Must possess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to perform in a fast paced ever changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities at once.

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment or independently as the workload requires.

Experience and competency with Microsoft Office

Valid Driver’s License

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline

2+ years of supervisory/management experience in a relevant industry

10+ years of environmental experience

Proficient knowledge of applicable Air, Solid Waste, and Wastewater regulations and requirements. 

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Both Office and field working conditions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting, driving or standing.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Required visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require personal protective equipment.

Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
