Requirements:

Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8+ years related experience which should include a good knowledge of industry practices, liquid and gas facility and pipeline construction standards, welding procedures, pipeline maintenance and operations.
  • Preferred: API 1169 – Pipeline Construction Inspector Certification, AWS CWI, API 653
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Daily driving to active projects, walking on uneven terrain, ascending stairs, and crossovers, and working in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to adverse winter weather and extreme hot/cold temperatures.
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals and loud machinery and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
