Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • General knowledge of the company’s pipeline systems that are managed out of all Control Centers; ability to develop and maintain company procedures, standard operating procedures, and program documents to adequately meet the intent of the Control Room Management regulations.
  • 8 years of relevant industry specific and control center experience, pipeline operations, knowledge of pipeline assets, SCADA systems, and supervisory experience
  • PHMSA pipeline operations and compliance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education [in a technical related field] and additional related work experience
  • Understand the operations, oil & gas control center processes, and control processes for the pipeline
  • Knowledge of pipeline control center SCADA software, pipeline hydraulics, flow diagrams, and basic knowledge of overall pipeline operations
  • Familiarity with operating equipment and associated components, SCADA equipment, and regulations governing the pipeline industry especially Control Room Management Regulations
  • Proven analytical and judgment skills; extremely detail oriented
  • Must be an independent thinker with the ability to make sound, logical decisions
