Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and 10+ years of relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibility preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in Data Program, Data Governance or Data Management functions
  • Well versed in Data Quality best practices
  • Effective communicator and prior experience interacting with all levels of management, including executive management
  • 4+ years of people management and leadership experience
  • Able to set and conduct management routines to keep teams on track with established, aggressive timelines
  • Presentation preparation and delivery experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior work with within the oil & gas industry would be a plus, not required. 
  • Experience standing up a Data Program, and establishing enterprise processes and guidelines
  • Expert knowledge of Master Data Management applications (i.e. Informatica, SAP MDG, Riversand, Profisee, EnerHub, etc.)

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • Usual, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Up to 15% overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
