Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience marketing products and/or services in the B2B industry required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the fuel, retail, or CPG industry preferred.
  • Prior experience in B2B marketing and managing strategic partner relationships.
  • Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to support the development and execution of strategic plans that align to business objectives.
  • Prior experience developing strategies to market products and/or services in the B2B industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with other departments and functions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills; including experience reviewing performance results and making recommendations for future actions.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to formulate strategies to support company objectives, often working in an environment with significant whitespace.
  • Experience overseeing market, competitor and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunities.
  • Ability to create value propositions and messaging strategies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in ambiguity by combining innovative solutions with the horsepower to execute them.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
 
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Up to 30% travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing setting may be required which could cause exposure to hazardous materials such as combustible, flammable, toxic, carcinogenic and other chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery.
