Required education:

  • High school diploma or GED

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Possess a strong background and good working knowledge of the operating and maintenance requirements for natural gas measurement equipment. 
  • Computer and basic office software experience as well as a strong background in the natural gas industry are desired. 
  • Effective written & verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing & maintaining good working relationships with others, to support organization & company objectives, and willingness to work in all areas required. 
  • Candidate must exhibit a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and willingness to accept constantly changing priorities. 
  • Must be qualified or able to qualify in Measurement Skills as defined by company Skill Progression Program within established deadlines. 
  • Possess a desire to advance individual skills as assigned/required by management in accordance with defined time frames.  Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 


Preferred Skills

  • Strong gas measurement background in the natural gas industry or an associate’s degree in a related technical field is desired. 
  • Experience with high volume, high pressure measurement facilities such as  power plants and interconnects is preferred.
  • Experience with gas quality instrumentation, odorization, chromatographs, and communication equipment is a plus.


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
    Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
