Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of progressively responsible roles in information security including most, if not all, of the following (required):
  • Vulnerability management
  • SIEM
  • Incident handling, response, and forensics
  • Intrusion detection and prevention
  • Anti-malware
  • Cloud computing security
  • Knowledge of core networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
  • Experience with security tools and solutions such as Identity and Access Management, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management Systems, and Penetration Testing tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

      • Java
      • SAML
      • Familiar with Unified Threat Management
      • Familiar with Firewall and proxy administration
      • Experience with policy writing and enforcement
      • Experience with Cisco’s security suite of products, LogRhythm, Carbon Black, and Cylance. (or a combination thereof)
      • Familiarity with ITIL
      • CISSP or other security certifications
      • Ability to perform security testing and validation
      • Experience with "ethical hacking"/penetration testing
      • Experience identifying vulnerabilities in infrastructure and software

    Working conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 
    • Usually, normal office working conditions.
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged period of sitting or standing.
    • Occasional travel may be required.
