Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience using mass communication tools (e.g., Everbridge) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with open-source information collection tools and research techniques.
- Strong analytical abilities to support independent, effective decision-making.
- Working knowledge of security operations, procedures, and 24x7 monitoring center functions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including accurate spelling and grammar.
- Proficiency in MS Office and various physical security applications.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and navigate a matrixed organization effectively.
- Resilience under pressure in a fast-paced environment and the ability to make sound judgments based on limited data.
- Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergencies (including evenings, weekends, and holidays) as operational needs arise.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant physical/technical security experience.
- Familiarity with physical security practices, emergency management, transportation systems security, and related communication systems.
- ASIS Associate Protection Professional (APP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification preferred.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
