Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 8+ years general experience in the oil/gas industry

  • Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills

  • Minimum of five years of progressive safety experience in a hands-on oilfield service operation

  • Minimum of eight years of experience with safety facilitation and leadership

  • Ability to perform incident investigations using appropriate techniques and to identify and correct root causes

  • Demonstrated ability 10 calculate and analyze safety metrics including TRIR. LTIR and SIR

  • Willingness to support 24-7 nature of the business

  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and how they relate to Company operations

  • Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record and a reliable means of transportation

  • Position will require working days, nights, holidays in all weather conditions and overtime

  • Dynamic, fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Travel- 20-30% (Ohio, West Virginia & Pennsylvania)

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.

  • May require walking and standing up to 12 hours a day

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.

  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
