Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements for this position are listed below:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and a Bachelor's Degree or additional equivalent work experience

  • 6 years of industry related experience

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments

  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate and assist in the resolution of issues in a professional manner

  • Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel

  • Must have thorough knowledge of pipeline and/or pipeline facility construction and appropriate engineering records including inspection, redline drawings, welding records, coating records, survey data, as-built drawings

  • Must be familiar with all applicable DOT regulations for Gas and Liquid Pipelines

  • Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and web based applications via a mobile device.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • College degree or technical training in CAD, process piping design or related field preferred

  • Industry certification such as AWS-CWI, NACE certified inspector preferred.

  • Knowledge of ARC-GIS database or equivalent preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic pipeline survey principles preferred.

  • Previous experience as a Materials or Documentation Coordinator on large capital project preferred

Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

 

1. Must be able to travel up to 70%, overnight travel required.

2. Driving, walking, and standing frequently

3. Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting

4. Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment

5. Must be able to work effectively away from traditional office environment (hotel, airports, roadside parks etc.)
