- A high school diploma or Associates degree in a technical discipline including 2 years’ experience utilizing computerized Inspection Data Management Systems (IDMS).
- A minimum 5-10 years’ experience in the Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, or Reliability support functions of a mid-stream gas gathering, refinery, chemical plant, and/or pipeline environment.
- Acts as an advocate for workplace safety and adheres to all applicable federal & state regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures governing safe work practices.
- Possesses high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Possesses current API 510, 570, 571, 577, 583 and 653 inspection certifications.
- Knowledgeable in multiple NDE Process (UTT, MT, PT, RT and VT) and possesses ASNT SNT TC-1A Level II or III in UTT, MT, PT, and RTFI.
- Familiar with using computerized Inspection Data Management Systems (IDMS) (preferred Siemens UltraPIPE, PCMS, or equivalent).
- Can meet requirements of State and Federal regulations governing vehicle operations.
- Maintains a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and possesses the ability to effectively work under pressure and with changing priorities.
- Possesses a high level of initiative and is able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
- Possesses effective analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and is able to communicate effectively with employees of all educational backgrounds and at all company levels.
- Is a “team player” with strong interpersonal skills.
- Possesses a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to facility locations in southern New Jersey, western Pennsylvania, and Texas.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in welding as it applies to ASME Sec VIII, IX, B31.3, 31.4, 31.8.
- Siemens UltraPIPE, PCMS, or equivalent, highly preferred..
- Able to function in round-the-clock operating environment.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unaided.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and access man-way opening 15” ID or larger.
- Able to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.
- The movement, storage, and processing of natural gas liquids (NGLs), liquefied petroleum gases (LPGs), and refined products is an “around the clock” operation. The facility handles & processes chemicals which are hazardous in nature (i.e. flammable, combustible, toxic, carcinogenic, and other). The individual will be required to wear company issued personal protective equipment and must be able to drive a shared company vehicle, walk on uneven surfaces, climb ladders, work at heights & in cramped conditions, and in extreme temperature conditions around loud machinery.
- Position may be subject to applicable U.S. Department of Transportation Drug & Alcohol regulations.
- The incumbent may be required to learn duties associated with one or more specific areas of the operation depending on the operational need and the employee’s demonstrated abilities.
- This position may require some travel for temporary assignments, meetings, and training.
- The job may also involve participating on occasional unscheduled call-outs and extended workdays and/or workweeks.
