Requirements: 

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

 

  1. 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications or Public Affairs.  

  1. 2. 2-10 years of experience. 

  1. 3. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and a willingness to accept a variety of assignments as necessary to achieve results. 

  1. 4. Strong team skills are required along with proven ability to interact with management and external stakeholders.   

  1. 5. Analytical ability with willingness to advance skills. 

  1. 6. Demonstrated skills in multi-tasking and working to meet deadlines. 

  1. 7. In-depth understanding of energy pipelines and regulatory compliance.  

  1. 8. Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office software and databases (i.e. Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word). 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

 

  1. 1. GIS pipeline experience. 

 

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: 

  • -The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-7 years of relevant job related experience. 

  • -The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8-10 years of relevant job related experience. 

 

Working Conditions: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  1. 1. Usually, normal office working conditions.  

  1. 2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.  

  1. 3. Occasional overnight travel may be required 

  1. 4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
