Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in accounting, regulatory affairs or in related areas
  • Strong knowledge and use of MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word as well as exposure to SAP and similar accounting systems.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use the same in inter-departmental teams.
  • Familiarity with the FERC Chart of Accounts as outlined in 18 CFR.
  • Strong analytical skills and must possess the ability to be a self-starter.
Working Conditions: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 
  1. Usually, normal office working conditions with occasional overtime due to filing and project deadlines.
  2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  3. Occasional overnight travel will be required.
