Summary:
The Sr Integrity Engineer reports to the Director of Pipeline Integrity. This position involves a diverse involvement in various aspects of the company’s integrity management plan. The primary focus of this position is to administrate the Company P&M Measure Program as outlined in Company Integrity Management Programs. Other areas of integrity management that this position will directly support are special permits, pressure analysis (cycle fatigue and seam susceptibility), annual reporting, and agency inspections. The position involves diverse involvement in various aspects of the company’s business and developing relationships with stakeholder groups such as pipeline integrity, Corrosion, and operations. This position requires periodic travel to field locations, training, and company meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support Integrity Engineers (IE) during the Preventive & Mitigative Measures (PMM) phase of the integrity management life cycle
· Responsible for updating and maintaining the Company’s PMM process
o Maintain list of company PMM and review annually
o Assist in risk reduction determination for company risk assessment
o Coordinate loading existing PMM into the ET GIS database
o Coordinate with other stakeholder groups such as Corrosion, Operations, and Tech Ops on capture of existing PMM and development of future PMM
o Track pending PMM through the life cycle process to completion
o Develop metrics around pending or implemented PMM
o Present PMM overview to Integrity personnel
· Support the Company’s Integrity Management Plan (IMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Assist IEs with various pressure studies. Rain flow analysis, cycle counts, seam susceptibility.
· Assist in state and federal Gas/Liquids IMP audits including preparation, execution and response
· Assist in creating, maintaining, and tracking documentation related to special permits
· Assists in developing improvements to the company’s Integrity Management Plan, including the written plan, procedures, best practices, and processes.
· Develop and provide training for Company employees
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Graduate engineer with BS in Engineering discipline.
· 6-10 years of related experience
· Working knowledge of CFR 192 and 195
· Experience in pipeline operations, pipeline design, pipeline repair, and pipeline integrity issues such as corrosion control, pipeline assessment and fitness for service evaluation, risk management, DOT Code requirements, and compliance.
· The position requires a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
· A highly developed ability with PCs and office computer software is required.
· Must be a self-starter and self-motivator ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum engineering degree preferred.
· Prior experience with Integrity Management or Regulatory & Compliance preferred.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Engineer level requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 3-6 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Engineer level requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering disciplineand 6-10 years of relevant job related experience
- The Staff Engineer level requires Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 10+ years of relevant job related experien

- Normal office working conditions and field work
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment will occur.
