Summary


The Sr Manager – Enterprise Applications COE is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and execution for ERP functional solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives. This position will lead and sustain a team of SAP and OpenLink Rightangle Functional SME's, institute ITIL best practices to deliver a suite of services with SLA, as well as provide governance & council to the IT & LoB leadership to realize best practice economies. This key leadership position requires the ability to develop effective team, manage multiple initiatives, build/maintain strong business relationships, and facilitate positive and solution-oriented discussions with key cross functional business stakeholders.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Managing the application teams, coordinating with other IT functions and facing off with the business
  • Manage budget process for the Enterprise Applications group in IT. Ensure that SAP and Rightangle program activities operate within the budget agreed-to with the executives
  • Accountable to plan, manage and deliver scope, capacity, budget & deliverables for projects
  • Deep business and ERP process background in Finance, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Energy/Commodities Trading and Risk Management (ETRM)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP functional areas such as FICO, PM, MM, PP, QM, WM/IM as well as integration points across all modules of SAP
  • Supporting ETRM projects focusing on process improvement, assessments and implementation of solutions such as RightAngle
  • Serve as an SME in routinely briefing key stakeholders on key aspects of integrated design for approved and ongoing initiatives

 

Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
  • 10+ years’ experience on program governance in large companies
  • 5+ years’ experience working with ERP roadmaps and / or blueprints
  • 5+ years budgeting experience
  • Knowledge of organization development
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Management skills to lead and coordinate activities among several projects, programs and departments
  • Negotiation skills
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Strong leadership

  • Usually, normal office working conditions. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
