Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
- 8+ years of related pipeline industry experience. Experience with geohazards and associated slip repairs strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must reside within 50 minutes of the reporting work location.
- Familiar with the Federal Code of Regulations as it relates to Natural Gas Pipeline Construction and Operation.
- Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Ability to work within and determine stringent deadlines for others.
- Knowledge and understanding of state and local DOT rules and regulations.
- Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner with both private and public entities and officials.
- Ability to lead and collaborate across functions to improve business processes.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Both office and field working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting, driving, or standing.
- Overnight travel will be required up to 50% of the time.
- Subject to extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery. Personal protective equipment is required.
