Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of measurement information to support Midstream gathering and asset management. Lead and supervise a team of professionals to ensure reliable, accurate and timely measurement information is available corporately.
Accountable for sub-function performance. Adapts sub-functional plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges. Decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plan. Addresses issues with impact beyond assigned sub-functions based on knowledge of related sub-functions. Supervise the performance of a team of professional staff.
- Provide leadership and oversight to Measurement Analysts to ensure reliable, accurate and timely measurement data is distributed within and outside the company.
- Facilitate a positive team environment within Measurement (office and field members) and with the internal customers of Measurement.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development of staff to ensure skilled technical capacity and capability is available to execute the Measurement Data Processes function. This includes recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, career development, performance reviews, developmental feedback, and other related responsibilities.
- Asist Management to ensure the Measurement Data Processes are implemented.
- Review Prior Period Adjustments and champion corrective actions relating to PPA causes.
- Supervise the Measurement portion of monthly close process.
- Partner with Field Measurement to complete the monthly close process.
- Provide oversight and support for critical Measurement Data processes.
- Evaluate training needs and facilitate training resources for the group.
- Monitor internal and external customer contacts to ensure excellence in the group’s responsiveness and customer service.
- Resolve questions and issues from customers, as well as clients and stakeholders within the organization.
- Assist management with implementation and monitoring of quality measurement data methodologies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist management with implementation and support of measurement software systems and provide input to new software systems that affect department.
- Identify process, system, or related data needs for the Measurement Data Processes function.
- Assist management in the development and review of Measurement Data procedures and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge in the fundamentals of natural gas measurement and familiarity with the various metering and recording technologies.
- Ability to coach, lead, motivate and influence others.

- Advanced skills in computer applications, databases, and reporting software: Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Strong knowledge in a Gas Measurement system such as FlowCal, PGAS or Quorum.
- Demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, company’s ethics code of conduct and other company policies and procedures.
- Respect and follow safety policies and regulations; scan the environment for objects or people who may pose a safety risk; encourage others to utilize safe and healthy work practices.
