Education Requirement:
· High school graduate or equivalent required
· Prior certification as an NDT Level III Technician
· Documented classroom training of UT phased array (80 hours minimum)
· API QUTE preferred
· API QUSE preferred
· API QUPE preferred
Experience Requirement:
· Minimum of 8+ years' experience and certifications as a level III or II technician in phased array, MT, PT and UT Shear wave required.
· Extensive knowledge of API 1104, API 5L, ASME B31.4, ASME Section V.
· Previous experience and knowledge of advance UT applications such as phased array, tip diffraction, ToFD, guided wave and EMAT a plus.
· Strong technical and working knowledge of anomalies or discontinuities found in a pipeline inspection program.
· 10 years of writing pipeline dig reports preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills required including ability to coordinate effectively and with other personnel, corporate departments, as well as, with external contractors required.
· Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products required.
· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy.
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines.
