Summary
The Associate Specialist - Commercial role supports Sunoco’s Commercial and Terminal Segment teams at the Newtown Square, Pennsylvania office location. The position is responsible for a wide range of projects and tasks, including managing all administrative functions for the employees, working within our fuel systems to gather and analyze data, run reports, create presentations, pay waterborne invoices, and other projects that support the fuel business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative needs for approximately 150 employees in the Newtown Square location
- Provide weekly support for the Waterborne Scheduling team by reviewing and processing invoices
- Create scheduling orders as required for RINs and other products as needed
- Learn and navigate operational and accounting fuel systems to gather data, run reports, and generate graphs/charts as requested, including ad hoc requests
- Gather data and information from multiple team members to format and create presentations for leadership and upper management
- Maintain tracking of synergies and commercial team initiatives on a regular cadence
- Access 3rd party systems as needed (ie. Transport4, pipeline systems, DTN, etc) to run and distribute reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree business, finance, or other technical field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude to learn new systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to communicate with employees in different functional groups and at different levels in the organization
- Must be self-starter
Working Conditions
- Primarily office‑based professional environment
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (up to 50%).
