Summary:
This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources for the purpose of developing solutions related to company operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop reporting and analyze data to help direct oil sale and logistic efforts.
- Execute and facilitate responses for data requests from multiple Energy Transfer departments including contracts, accounting and other groups as needed.
- Request, gather and analyze bid information from numerous counter parties for the sale of oil and other hydrocarbon products.
- Work with manager on projects related to business process improvements.
- Gather information and prepare economic evaluations for capital projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or a related field.
- Oil and gas experience is preferred but not required.
- Intermediate level understanding of Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze and report data.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be organized and able to work effectively as a team member.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Associate Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant job related experience
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
