Associate Specialist - Pipeline Scheduler
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related disciplines).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles in energy, logistics, or supply chain preferred).
- Strong interest in the energy industry and a desire to learn pipeline operations and scheduling processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pipeline operations, logistics, or scheduling through internships or entry-level positions.
- Familiarity with Transport 4 systems or scheduling tools (a plus, but not required).
- Exposure to energy markets, logistics, or supply chain processes.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
