Co-Op - Supply Optimization
Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.
- Learn the Sunoco LP fuel business and provide support as it relates to Supply Optimization and our interactions with various teams within the Commercial organization.
- Provide Supply Optimization team with comparative analysis of actual product liftings against contractual and nominated volumes. Provide reporting and coordinate corrective actions with various teams including Supply Optimization, Freight Optimization and Transportation teams.
- Create and provide teams with metrics and reports that allow for business optimization in our supply chain.
- Provide analyses and corrective actions related to freight optimization with 3rd party and company owned trucking operations.
- Support the Supply Optimization team during the integration of new branded business.
Daily Functions:
- Review truck movement transactions, identify and correct exceptions to the plan.
- Interact with Transportation to identify root cause of product supply deviation and determine the necessary next steps.
- Review performance vs monthly branded supply forecasts and aid in investigating any anomalies.
- Interact with Transportation, Commercial Systems, Scheduling and Business Systems teams.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Position requires a strong set of interpersonal skills
- 0-2 years of experience required.
- Possess good analytical and systems aptitude
- Beginner ‐ Limited or no previous work experience/first Co‐op
- Intermediate ‐ Some related work or volunteer experience/second Co‐op
- Advanced ‐ Previous related work experience/final Co‐op
