Interns -Retailing Pricing
Sunoco, L.P., the leading operator of critical energy infrastructure and North America’s largest independent fuel distributor, is looking for interns to join one of our fast-paced, high impact teams in Dallas, TX, Philadelphia, PA, San Antonio, TX. We are seeking to fill roles in the following departments: Supply (2), Trading (2), Accounting (2), Pricing (2), Data Analytics (2), Sales Support (2), Field Support, M&A (1), Finance (1), Race Fuels (1), Procurement/Marketing (2), Engineering (2) and Business Development (2).
This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2026. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
Summary:
This position will be responsible for supporting pricing analysis and strategy development within Sunoco’s fuel network and will be based out of Dallas, TX.
The Retail Pricing Intern position is a vital part of the Sunoco LP pricing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, a keen interest in market dynamics, and a passion for learning and contributing to business success. The intern will collaborate closely with various teams to support pricing decisions and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in supporting the pricing and margin analysis for Sunoco’s fuel network, which includes over 1,000 COAG and Dealer sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in trading, supply, scheduling, and sales management to assist in daily pricing activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of analytical tools and models used in pricing decisions.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data to provide insights on market trends and channel performance.
- Contribute to the review and analysis of pricing strategies to help maximize profitability.
- Monitor the competitive environment and assist in compiling reports on pricing and supply trends.
- Support the team in preparing sales forecasts and identifying potential areas of risk or opportunity.
- Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned, providing support where needed.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Administration, or Marketing.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, with a willingness to learn SQL and modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with guidance.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a strong work ethic.
