Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

 
  • Ability to formulate strategies to support company objectives, often working in an environment with significant whitespace.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in ambiguity by combining innovative solutions with the horsepower to execute them.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with other departments and functions.
  • 8 or more years of experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing vendor relationships.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience marketing products/services in B2B industry.
  • Experience planning and executing special events preferred.
  • Experience in the fuel, retail or CPG industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align to business objectives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
  • Strong analytical skills; including experience reviewing performance results and making recommendations for future actions.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
