Specialist - IT B2B Web Portal App Support
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- Comprehensive understanding of web application components and architecture, with experience supporting large, complex, customer-facing systems.
- Familiarity with web and web-adjacent technologies such as HTTP, SQL, REST, SFTP, JSON, JavaScript, etc.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and diagnose complex issues.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, waterfall, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Comfortable coordinating and actively participating in meetings with IT and business stakeholders, taking a lead role when necessary to guide the conversations.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools, database structure and design, and ability to write SQL queries for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
- While this is not a software development position, some limited software development experience/familiarity would be beneficial, and exceptional SQL skills will be highly advantageous.
- Experience in the convenience store and/or fuel industry would be considered an asset.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
