Education Requirement

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; extensive work experience with terminal automation systems may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience Requirement

·         2-5+ years of relevant technical experience, including terminal automation systems configuration and support

·         Effective analytical and complex problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and schedule to meet appropriate deadlines.

·         Strong interpersonal skills for communication with a diversified user community and outside vendors.

·         Ability to identify an issue, analyze and research problems, and formulate a solution

·         Ability to identify, isolate, and repair equipment and software affecting service for all supported locations.

·         Available for 24 x 7 support as needed

·         Ability to take direction from supervisor and work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in several of these areas preferred:

·         Terminal systems pre-set and metering technologies

·         Ability to read and understand P&ID drawings

·         Field instrumentation and electrical systems

·         Basic knowledge of petroleum operations and industry terminology

·         Working knowledge of networks and Microsoft Windows

·         Relational Databases, such as SQL or Oracle and PL/SQL

·         Linux, Unix, or QNX

·         MS Office Products
