Primary Responsibility:
Provides assistance in driving the sales growth for the dealer operations division by managing the designated brand, providing customer service and building relationships with customers, and supporting the various programs utilized by the company.
 
Sales
  • Create new business opportunities by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales channels.
  • Provides critical thinking to close negotiations and improve offerings.
  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Informs management of sales activity by submitting reports, i.e. weekly lead updates, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
 
 
Customer Service
  • Provides customer service by responding to customer inquiries and concerns, communicating all brand related information.
  • Serves customers by maintaining our philosophy of going above and beyond, supported by a value proposition that every situation will be handled in a timely manner.
  • Ability to represent company and dealer pertaining to issues with designated suppliers.
  • Represents Company interests with the highest standards of professionalism pertaining to phone etiquette, responding to emails and interaction with customers while on site.
Operations
  • Provides exemplary customer service to customers as the designated point of contact for a specified brand.
  • Ensures that all promotions are successfully executed to company standards.
  • Ensures compliance with company programs such as Brand Image and Mystery Shop.
  • Develop and initiate action plans for sites not in compliance and under performing with follow up.
  • Manage the Brand Development Fund for designated brand.
  • Provide training for new customers.
  • Develop brand related articles for newsletter and portal.
  • Participate in monthly division and sales meetings, trade show, grand openings, special events, and dealer seminars.
  • Review monthly P&L statements and volume analysis for all locations and present findings at monthly chart meetings.
  • Prepare annual budget for designated locations.
  • Assist with pricing and value added programs as needed.
  • Performs other various duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of directly related experience in oil company brand management and/or convenience stores is required.
  • Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time (local)
