This person will be responsible for maintaining all the data elements required to effectively run the maintenance department.  This includes updating equipment records, PM master data, and location data required for vendor assignment.  This position will also execute standard monthly reports and generate ad-hoc reports as required to support the initiatives of the business.  The role will provide support to the field supervisors and dispatch team to ensure smooth operations of the maintenance department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:.
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs (SAP) to include frequency, scope, active locations, vendors and completion targets
  • Maintain assets and corresponding attributes the system
  • Run reports and provide analytics on asset performance, contractor performance, budget compliance, etc.
  • Support field supervisors with project management with systems and data questions
  • Provide training support to new dispatchers
  • Set up new locations and assets for acquisitions
  • Troubleshoot IT issues with contractors and store operators
  • Support the overall needs of the maintenance department


Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • BS degree (Engineering, IT or related field preferred)
  • 5-7 years of experience required
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Computerized maintenance management system(CMMS) systems and database analysis (Maximo and/or SAP PM end user experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple projects
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver a high level accuracy across thousands of transactions

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
  2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
