Supervisor - Pipeline Accounting
Sunoco LP is a growth company which operates within the following three business segments:
Fuel Distribution: Largest independent fuel distributor in North America. Sunoco LP distributes approximately 9 billion gallons of branded and unbranded fuel annually across more than 40 states and the Caribbean
Pipelines Systems: Network contains approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline transporting refined products, crude oil, and ammonia
Terminals: Owns and operates over 100 terminals throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Europe

Sunoco LP is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our Operational Accounting team in Dallas, TX. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
· Navigate and manage stressful situations in a professional, solution-oriented manner that achieves the best outcomes and overall team performance
· Monitor the full pipeline margin accounting process--from ticketing through billing and reporting--identify and resolve issues as they arise and escalate matters to Management when appropriate
· Accountable to the performance of direct reports, including proactively engaging to provide positive feedback or developmental feedback to correct behaviors and improve performance as needed
Understand the working details of multiple systems, the accounting organization, and all business operations
Utilizes relationships with counterparties to collaborate and improve processes and procedures that are in the best interest of the company and the team
Ability to translate constructive feedback into positive changes for themselves and their team

Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required
Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, Synthesis, or TopTech a plus
Preferred qualifications: Experience with Power BI or Alteryx preferred
8+ years experience

Usually, normal office working conditions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Occasional overnight travel may be required
