Summary
The SAP MM Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing the SAP Materials Management module to meet business and supply chain requirements. The role works closely with procurement, inventory, warehouse, finance, and IT teams to ensure smooth end-to-end material and procurement processes. SAP MM consultants typically handle requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and production support, with strong integration knowledge across SAP modules
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP MM functional solutions.
- Configure SAP MM processes including material master, vendor master, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, inventory management, and release strategies.
- Support end-to-end procure-to-pay and inventory management processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve business processes.
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, and training documentation.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, go-live support, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, and other technical teams for enhancements and issue resolution.
- Ensure integration with related SAP modules such as FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM where applicable.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma with 8+ years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support.
- Good understanding of procurement, inventory management, and materials master data.
- Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects
- Ability to analyze business processes and provide practical SAP solutions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in MM is an advantage
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, WM/EWM, or integration with FI/SD/PP is preferred.
- Background in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, oil & gas, or supply chain-driven industries is a plus.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
