Position Summary:

This position is responsible for all pipeline movements within assigned areas.  In addition to pipeline movement position is also responsible for the operation of stations associated with pipeline facilities.

 

This role has a current pay range of $100,000 – $140,000. The listed pay range represents the company’s good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment.

Major Accountabilities:

             Direct the operations and maintenance of assigned facility.  Implements programs and procedures to keep crude losses and operational costs at minimum levels.

             Coordinate and inspect construction of new and the modification of existing facilities.

             Provides operational input.

             Stay update of pertinent government regulations and agencies, and operate within their scope as required.

             Examine daily/hourly reports on crude oil and product movement and storage of P/L and stations.

             Provide emergency help and assistance to other areas when required.

             Oversees or performs inspections of the terminal, including OFF-Hours security inspections

             Update and maintain the TMS system.

             On call 24 Hrs. Seven days a week.

             Insure compliance with federal and state regulations.

             Reduce potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.

             Noncompliance of government regulations can result in multi-million dollar fines and possible criminal penalties.

             Improve operations efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained facilities.

Education Requirement:

·         High School Degree or equivalent

·         Training of correct installations and repair of equipment required

·         Hazwoper and valid driver’s license required

Experience Requirement: 

             8 minimum years of pipeline and/or terminal experience required and  technical knowledge of equipment, mechanical knowledge, and field experience.

             Knowledge of petroleum products and industry terminology required

             Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products

             Ability to manage time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines

             Ability to work successfully in stressful situations, and manage multiple tasks

             Ability to use awareness of relationships and impacts of data trends and elements to appropriately recommends actions that impact both near and long-term company operations and profits

             Ability to independently conduct job accountabilities

             Ability to take directions from supervisors

             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

             Ability to work independently with limited supervision

             Strong attention to detail

             Ability to independently proof work for accuracy
