Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for scheduling pipeline, internal transfers truck and vessel shipments throughout the terminal operations to satisfy customer requirements.  Maintains inventory positions related to the tank volumes.  Tracks tank volumes and prepare reports for customers.  Will assume manager duties when the manager is not available.       

Major Accountabilities: 

·         Assess customer demands at both the receipt and delivery locations.

·         Insure compliance with federal and state regulations.  Reduce potential risk to public safety, the environment and minimize company exposure.

·         Responsible for the daily movement schedule and the weekly movement projection schedule.

·         Tracks the progress of trucks, rail and vessels.

·         Communication link between our field personnel and the outside while on shift.

·         Acts as a strong team player in trouble-shooting measurement issues.

·         Communicates movement requests both verbally and in writing.

·        Constantly interfacing with the Inventory Control to assist in producing an accurate daily inventory balance.

·        Maintains a continuous knowledge base of production rundown rates and active tank levels while on shift.

·        Resolve scheduling conflicts to minimize demurrage costs on vessels and meeting scheduling deadlines.

·         Perform tests on certain marine and tank equipment.

·         Perform equipment inspections in terminal.

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements: 

A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of scheduling experience in a fast paced petroleum products environment.  Knowledge of product movements in the marine; rail, and truck areas.  Strong mathematical and computer skills are needed.  Must be able to deal with constant change and variation.  Ability to communicate effectively and clearly is a must. Knowledge of mechanical limitations and rates of the equipment on our delivery system.  Must be able to use meters; sensors, and wear PPE.
