3rd Party Estimator

Key Business Objectives:
The 3rd Party Estimator provides cost estimates for 3rd Party projects and assists the 3rd Party, Lead, Manager, and Sr. Manager with proposals. USAC employees are proudly responsible for maintaining a safe, professional, and positive work environment that aligns with our Pillars culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates utilizing Scope of Work, equipment specifications, material costs, and labor hours.
Develop technical proposals, including sales price, delivery, and associated supporting documentation.
Consult with vendors and 3rd party management throughout the estimate and proposal process.
Respond quickly and accurately to vendor inquiries and communicate with 3rd party Lead and management.
Proficient in estimating and understanding project scopes of work.
Familiar with different equipment types and general working knowledge of gas compression, compressors, engines, and packages.
Working knowledge of industry standards.
Understand and follow the company handbook and all company or customer safety and environmental policies.
Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Full-time hourly position.
Skills/Capabilities and Education:
Technical or trade school certification, college degree, or additional work experience in a related field.
Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience required.
Must be detail oriented.
Strong knowledge of OEM parts systems and pricing.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and other required software.
Experience collecting data, analyzing data and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Compression equipment processes and inspection, repair, and overhaul knowledge.
Team player with integrity, interpersonal skills, organization, and time management skills.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced 3rd Party environment and able to work independently and within a team environment.
Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S.
Working Conditions:
Usually, normal office working conditions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
