Skills/Capabilities and Education:

  • College degree preferred (business/marketing, industrial technology, engineering) or equivalent related work experience in Gas Treating / Construction / Compression
  • Minimum 15 years of industry related experience
  • Strong business development and CRM acumen
  • Extreme focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Ability to work well with others to build strong relationships throughout all departments of USAC
  • Must possess strong influence and team building skills in order to facilitate creative solutions and solid working relationships with direct reports, administrative support groups, engineering, and operations
  • Extensive knowledge of gas treating, compression, construction services and processes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Experience in team-related organizations and adept at conflict management
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor
  • including training, procedures, instructions, etc.
  • Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Travel is required and is expected to be approximately 25-50% of the time worked
  • Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs, stoop, squat,
  • kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements  
  • Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon location-based conditions where applicable and required for in-field site visits
  • Exposure to high noise levels (in excess of 85dBA), as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials
  • The position requires ability to read and interpret data as well as having the capacity to professionally and effectively communicate (verbally and written) with both company and outside personnel
  • Employee will be, at times, required to all regions within USAC where their skills and expertise is required
  • Working conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another.  Some job sites are indoors in compressor stations while other sites are outside, exposed to a variety of weather conditions.  The work environment may be in hazardous locations.  There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.
